Gather your cans! Food drive Sept. 10th...

Looking for ways to help out this Pink season? We’re having a food drive on September 10th, to help Flat River Outreach Ministries (FROM) in Lowell. Bring your non-perishable items to the stadium, from 2:30PM until the end of the game Friday.

According to their website, they currently have need for the following:
  • Cereal
  • Crackers
  • Spaghetti Sauce
  • Fruit
  • Fruit Juice

Let’s see how full we can get their pantry! Special thanks to Harold Zeigler Ford in Lowell for the use of one of their trucks for the food collection.

Get your T-shirts now!

If you didn’t get your Pink Arrow Pride 2010 t-shirts at the kickoff, there’s still time, and plenty of selection is available at Pep Talk. $15 gets you a shirt and entrance into the game and other festivities, such as:

  • Air bounce activities
  • Sidewalk chalk drawing
  • Volleyball match – 4:30PM (we’re going for the national attendance record again!)
  • Pink Arrow parade
  • Varsity soccer game vs. Kenowa Hills at 3:45PM
  • Pink Arrow football game vs. Kenowa Hills at 7:00PM

T-shirt sales for this yearly event assist the Pink Arrow Project in supporting the community, Gilda's Club, and scholarships.

You also have the opportunity of honoring and supporting a loved one by adding their name to the back of your t-shirt. Add one name for $10, two for $15 and three names for $20. These can be added while you wait when purchasing your shirt.

Can’t get to Pep Talk during normal business hours? Shirts will also be available at several school open houses and youth football practices.

Pep Talk is at 505 W. Main in Lowell.
